Stamford, Conn. (PRWEB) September 21, 2015
XLerant Inc., a leading solution provider of cloud-based budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for organizations, today announced that CEO Joanne Brunn will moderate a business officer roundtable discussion with financial officers from San Juan College and John A. Logan College at the CCBO Annual International Conference, a premier event for leaders in community college institutions.
The discussion, scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, will explore the budgetary journeys of two community colleges, whose financial leaders leveraged the 2013 CCBO Conference forums to evaluate and ultimately choose their current budgeting solutions.
“We look forward to a very interactive roundtable discussion,” said Brunn. “Our panelists will cover everything from the internal discussion and justification behind the decision to move away from Excel-based budgeting – to the lessons learned and benefits gained two years later through the concurrent, but very different, experiences of both colleges.”
"We are honored to have the opportunity to facilitate such a timely discussion at CCBO's Annual Conference,” said Brunn. “Community college leaders face unique budgeting challenges. At XLerant, we believe that a collaborative budgeting strategy – one that includes thoughtful input from many participants – can better help community colleges meet their goals.”
