Dr. Morales graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida in May of 2010. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Morales is fluent in both Spanish and English. She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Central Florida Veterinary Medical Association.
With the addition of Dr. Morales, the practice will now have two full-time veterinarians on staff. Dr. Garcia has been with the practice since it opened in 2005 and specializes in surgery, dentistry and internal medicine.
“We not only provide a full service practice, but we firmly believe in a strong connection to the community and encourage continued education,” said Claire Garcia. Your Family Veterinarian participates in Science Night and Teach-in Day at the local schools and is involved in the local high school veterinarian assistant program. They also provide an internship location for the local veterinarian assistant school and help provide a place for prospective vet students to get job shadowing hours.
