Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) December 12, 2014 -- ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics, announced that they are now providing hosted email services to Bulloch Telephone Cooperative. Based in Statesboro, Georgia, the telecommunications company was using another managed services provider to host email for their subscribers, but had become unhappy with the quality of service they were receiving.
After several months of customer-affecting issues, Bulloch decided they needed to find a more dependable hosted email provider. ComSouth, another Georgia telecommunications company, had been using the same provider as Bulloch and had experienced similar issues prior to switching to ZCorum. When Bulloch learned that ZCorum had successfully transitioned ComSouth’s email service in August, they decided to give ZCorum a call.
“We had just finished transitioning ComSouth to our mail system a month earlier when we heard from Bulloch,” said Arthur Skinner, ZCorum’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales. “ComSouth had been experiencing the same reliability issues, including a multi-day outage. We’ve now transitioned Bulloch’s email accounts over to our servers and were able to do that with minimal customer impact.”
“Telephone companies and their subscribers expect email to be as reliable as their phone service,” said Julie Compann, President and CEO of ZCorum. “I’m glad we’ll have the opportunity to improve Bulloch’s email offering and look forward to developing a long and successful relationship.”
