ZH Healthcare announced their membership and support to Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. The mission of the VAFCC is to support, strengthen, and advocate for the delivery of quality health care to Virginia’s low-income, uninsured and under insured residents. "We believe that just offering our ZH OpenEMR software is not enough, and want to provide more support in the local area in which ZH Healthcare is based," said Shameem Hameed, Chairman of ZH Healthcare. "We are excited to become a member of VAFCC and look forward to learning more about the needs of the clinics and help and support the mission of VAFCC where we can."
ZH Healthcare made a decision earlier this year to support charitable clinics not just in Virginia but across the nation by providing their ZH OpenEMR system to these clinics at no charge. "For clinics, this means time saved," says Shameem. "They can see more patients without loss of quality care. We have found that these charitable clinics have specialized reporting needs and with our Business Analytic Reporting we can help answer this need. By having an easy to use EMR, it also will allow the clinics to more quickly onboard new volunteers."
Any qualified charitable health clinic can register to receive their ZH OpenEMR system by visiting the ZH Healthcare website.
