Taking the reader into a reality removed from their own, the story takes place on desecrated land, in an undisclosed location somewhere in London at the turn of the millennium. Predominately, “The Diary” centers on good versus evil, dealing with the subconscious, showing that dreams are as real as one’s mind allows them to be, except that they can become deadly.
Danny Russell, the present victim of The Diary, is the 19-year-old great-great-grandson of a previous victim. Due to the curious nature of his friend Peter, he is forced to endure his deepest fears over a 12-month period. He needs to find the Diary and denounce its existence in order to survive saving his future daughter Rosina along the way. As the months continue to pass, the danger element grows culminating in an explosive and emotional ending.

About the Author
Terry Beer was born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, in 1966 but moved to England when he was four. After a near fatal car crash in 1989, he managed to pull through and maintains to this day he was saved for a reason unknown. He now lives in Broxbourne with his wife, two children, and four cats. He has worked since he was 13 doing various jobs. He currently does night work for a supermarket distribution company, just completing his 10 years of service for them. “The Diary” is his first published work.
