American Auto-Matrix is a company re-doubling it's efforts as a leading building controls and energy management company. Part of accomplishing this is creating and providing tools to its partners to make their businesses more efficient and profitable.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 04, 2016
American Auto-Matrix (AAM), a Cylon Energy, Inc. Company and leading innovator of building energy controls and energy information analytics, recently announced the unveiling of ShopAAM. It is a time- and money-saving online buying portal made available exclusively to AAM System integrators, OEM’s, and other business partners.
ShopAAM.com offers a single point of purchase for over 140 million items related to building control and energy management systems. AAM’s partners are provided with “best price” discounts by pooling their buying power. Back office efficiencies are gained with estimating tools, returned goods management, shipping services, and a single PO for items from multiple vendors. The service was unveiled at the company’s dealer conference in March, with many dealers already actively registered, placing orders, and providing very positive feedback.
AAM partnered with Alpscontrols.com, located in West Homestead, PA to develop the portal. Alpscontrols.com operates a buying portal called eParts Services, which ShopAAM.com was modeled after. AAM’s pricing to its partners is unaffected, while the total cost of project implementation is reduced.
American Auto-Matrix, known for being the first to introduce a full line of BACnet® energy management controllers, continues their innovation with Point2Cloud™ , a Mobile Building Automation solution featuring Aspect®, that earned the firm the Innovation Award for Building Automation at the 2015 AHR Expo, the largest gathering of HVACR professionals in North America. American Auto-Matrix is also known for its “dual platform” product offering, with Integra, the Tridium N4 solution, and Aspect, offering integrators a choice of capabilities based on specification and project requirements.
Paul Wickberg, AAM’s President said, “American Auto-Matrix is a company re-doubling its efforts as a leading building controls and energy management company. Part of accomplishing this is creating and providing tools to its partners to make their businesses more efficient and profitable. ShopAAM.com is one of these initiatives. We are proud of the results and pleased with the adoption rate and feedback from everyone. Alpscontrols.com has proven to be a fabulous partner, collaborating to execute on this fantastic service.“
