Abby Executive Suites is proud to announce that company President and CEO, William L. Edmundson, IV was sworn into the Global Workspace Association (GWA) Board of Directors on September 10. The ceremony took place in Boca Raton, Florida at the annual GWA member conference.
Founded in 1983, Abby Executive Suites has become a widely respected member of the workspace-as-a-service industry. What began as a single business center has grown into a network of more than 30 state of the art executive office suites spread throughout the Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and New Orleans metropolitan areas. Mr. Edmundson was named President and CEO of Abby Executive Suites in 2010 and has since played an integral role in the success and expansion of the organization.
The Global Workspace Association is comprised of a host of professionals all of whom offer workspace-as-a-service solutions. Offering insight and education on the latest industry trends in coworking, virtual office space, business incubators and on-demand workspace, GWA is a member owned, nonprofit trade association. GWA board members are appointed by the association’s entire membership. Each member serves a term of two years.
Edmundson and two colleagues were sworn in at the GWA member conference earlier this month. During his term, Edmundson will serve as Secretary, a role that he was both honored and humbled to receive. “I am grateful for this opportunity and consider it a privilege to serve with the top minds and leaders in the industry,” said Edmundson.
One of his first duties as a member of the GWA Board of Directors was to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness for ALS. Together with all 9 of his fellow board members, William took time out to show his support for the ALS Association.
