We should never miss that part of Christmas as well. I hope this book helps bring that tradition to your family in some small way
Bentonville, Ark. (PRWEB) April 28, 2015
Amidst the holiday festivities and the bonding between family members, author Bobby Bland seeks to remind his readers of the underlying reason for the season, the origin of the holy day it is centered on. With the “ABC’s of Christmas Prayers” (published by Xlibris), he returns to the original Christmas story, that of the infant in the manger, the child who was born in Bethlehem.
“Although there was lots of family throughout my childhood memories of Christmas, there was one thing that was not a part of the family rituals—I don’t recall the story of Christ being present in our home at Christmas,” Bland says. The author and his wife Debbie rectified this with their three children, making sure that they understood and treasured the story of Jesus’ birth and ultimate death, instilling it in their Christmas memories. Now, they convey the spiritual lessons to readers everywhere, giving them the opportunity to create their own precious Christ-centered holiday moments and memories. God’s love, which Christ shared with all mankind through his birth and his life amongst the people, the sacrifice he made to ensure the salvation of all, these are the invaluable treasures Bland offers, a present to bring added meaning to the holidays.
“We should never miss that part of Christmas as well. I hope this book helps bring that tradition to your family in some small way,” he adds. “ABC's of Christmas Prayers” is a daily reminder during the holiday season, an example of Christian living and how the Christmas story can impact people and remain relevant in their everyday lives.
