Coral Springs, FL (PRWEB) January 28, 2015
Air America Air Conditioning is now offering air conditioning maintenance plans to help customers’ units stay efficient. The air conditioning and heating company provides 16 service points under their Air Conditioning Maintenance Plan.
With the plan, Air America will check the pressures, all wire connections, all motors’ amperage, the evaporator coil for microbial growth, the compressor amperage, the condenser coil, the balance of motor oil, the voltage and the thermostat. They will also calibrate if needed by adding algae pan tablets and adding up to two pounds 410a refrigerant.
Other maintenance includes inspecting filters and the blower housing for microbial growth, checking ductwork for leaks, evaluating the temperature at plenum, vacuuming the drain line and adjusting the fan belt.
Without regular maintenance, AC systems lose about 5 percent of their original efficiency for each year of operation, and with regular maintenance an AC unit can maintain up to 95 percent of its original efficiency.
When customers sign for Air America’s pre-paid maintenance contract, they will clear any blockages at no additional costs. The maintenance plan entitles customers to a 10 percent discount on all air-conditioning repairs, and Air America is available 24/7.
