FLORIDA (PRWEB) May 08, 2019 -- AccentCare, Inc., a leading post-acute care company, based in Dallas, Texas has purchased three healthcare businesses on the east coast of Florida, expanding its national footprint as well as its service lines.
“We are very excited to be delivering services in Florida,” said CEO Steve Rodgers. “With these acquisitions we are responding to the growing need for seniors to have quality care in the home setting.”
On April 15, 2019, AccentCare acquired Aloha Home Care with offices in Melbourne and Port St. Lucie, serving nine counties on the central and southeast coast of the state. Aloha’s acquisition also included Mobile Physicians Group, best known as MPG, an in-home medical care business in which advance care nurse practitioners deliver care in lieu of, or in addition to primary physician care.
“Joining AccentCare is a great opportunity for Aloha and MPG,” said Mark Eckstrom, Founder and CEO, because our companies have similar cultures and are well aligned in a common mission to deliver quality patient care.”
AccentCare’s acquisition of MPG adds a new business line for the company, while the addition of Aloha expands the company’s home health presence in Florida, having entered the state in July 2018 with the acquisition of Doctors’ Choice, a firm with four locations in Jacksonville, Orange Park, Ormond Beach, and Palm Coast, collectively serving seven counties in northeast Florida.
