Kiwanis International and Access Fundraising Team Up to Reward Key Club Donors
Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) September 25, 2017 -- Supporters of the world’s largest student-led high school service club will soon be able to make online donations to provide immediate support to projects.
Kiwanis International, sponsor of Key Club, and Access Fundraising have launched Kiwanis Gives Online, an effort to raise funds and rewards through a new web-based donation engine. The online platform will allow anyone to support a Key Club and its fundraising efforts for service projects in their communities, scholarships for attending conventions and other leadership programs.
Beginning Monday, September 25, participating Key Clubs will accept donations online through the use of this crowd fundraising platform. For more information, please contact your local Key Club.
In addition, all donors will receive six months of unlimited access to more than 350,000 discounts at restaurants and retailers across North America as a thank you.
“This partnership allows our local clubs to receive funding from friends and family anywhere in the world, any time,” said Stan Soderstrom executive director of Kiwanis International. “This makes the process of raising money so much easier and the discount rewards help donors offset their gifts in one or two redemptions.”
Kiwanis Gives Online is built on the WeFundThem platform, a new service from Access Fundraising (formerly TriQuest Fundraising), designed to generate funding for nonprofit organizations through low-cost, automated online fundraisers. Besides offering organizations a significantly larger portion of proceeds than other fundraising platforms, WeFundThem also rewards donors with access to thousands of deep discounts at merchants in their neighborhoods and across the nation.
“Fundraising is never an easy task, but we think this system eliminates many of the obstacles that make it so challenging,” says Rusty Bentley, president of Access Fundraising. “This system frees Key Clubs from time spent on fundraising and enables them to focus on building the next generation of leaders.”

The Key Club effort is the first in a series of partnerships between Kiwanis organizations and Access Fundraising. More Kiwanis Give Online efforts will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
