ACG Silicon Valley Honors Arista Networks, Adesto Technologies at GROW! Awards
Valley's best and brightest recognized at 15th annual event
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ACG Silicon Valley celebrated the 15th annual GROW! Awards at a sold-out ceremony held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California on April 16, 2019, recognizing Arista Networks, an industry leader in software-driven cloud networking solutions for large datacenter and campus environments, and Adesto Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of innovative application-specific semiconductors and embedded systems for the Internet of Things (IoT) era.
ACG Silicon Valley, which is the Silicon Valley chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, chose the winners in each category to reflect the best qualities of Silicon Valley's many fine companies. In addition to outstanding financial performance, candidates had to show a sustainable record of innovation, corporate value-building and social involvement. This year, Arista Networks received the GROW! Award for Outstanding Growth Company, and Adesto Technologies won the GROW! Award for Emerging Growth Company.
ACG SIlicon Valley CEO Drue Freeman served as the master of ceremonies. John Hennessy, chairman of Alphabet and co-founder of the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program at Stanford University, was interviewed by J. Jennings Moss, editor-in-chief and general manager at the Silicon Valley Business Journal, during the keynote fireside chat.
This year's awards ceremony celebrated leadership and the role Silicon Valley plays as an international hub of innovation and entrepreneurship. It featured a roundtable with four young entrepreneurs and student leaders from the Harker School, moderated by ALOM CEO Hannah Kain. Two brand-new product designs were introduced during the Coolest Products Raffle, with proceeds benefiting the Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley (IHCSCV). The IHCSCV provides medical and wellness services to American Indians/Alaska Natives and people from the community.
"Delegations come from all over the world to learn what makes Silicon Valley so special," said Freeman. "A big part of the mystique comes from the people - the leaders. At the GROW! Awards, we celebrated several generations of amazing leaders, demonstrating why Silicon Valley remains an international hub for technology, innovation, design, higher education, startups and venture capital. ACG Silicon Valley is uniquely positioned to bring all of these stakeholders together, creating community, connection and thought leadership for CEOs and other senior executives, enabling both personal and organizational growth."
