ACG Silicon Valley Names Philippe Bouissou to Board of Directors, Teams with Blue Dots Partners LLC
Experienced growth specialists join forces with the Valley's premier business organization to help companies accelerate their top-line performance
CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ACG Silicon Valley, a chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, today announced that Philippe Bouissou, Ph.D., managing partner at Blue Dots Partners LLC, has been named to its board of directors. As the Valley's premier business organization, ACG Silicon Valley (ACGSV) is dedicated to bringing together a group of leaders assembled by invitation only and providing a unique experience with like-minded senior executives.
Bouissou co-founded Palo Alto-based Blue Dots Partners in 2014. With 29 years of experience in Silicon Valley, he has held CEO and executive positions; generated double-digit cash-on-cash internal rate of return as a venture capitalist at Allegis Capital and Ventech, where he was general partner; led dozens of management-consulting projects at the Milestone Group; and served on the board of 20 companies. Bouissou also worked for Apple, where he created and was director of the Worldwide Internet Commerce Group, starting the online Apple Store and growing its revenue to $350 million. Prior to Apple, he was senior vice president at Matra Hachette Multimedia, and he was the founder and CEO of G2i, Inc. a Unix software company that was later acquired by Matra.
As part of its collaboration with Blue Dots Partners, ACGSV has created a new program for growth-stage startups and mid-market companies. The Growth Challenge will be conducted six times per year and is restricted to CEOs of companies with at least $10 million in revenue and who are ACG Silicon Valley members. During a private two-hour session, one CEO will meet with two principals from Blue Dots, including one of its managing partners. The sessions, which will be provided at no charge to members, are designed to foster a constructive discussion and provide thoughts and suggestions that generate revenue acceleration specific to the CEO's company, situation and growth goals.
"Philippe and his partners at Blue Dots bring a wealth of experience that is directly relevant to the core of our membership," said Drue Freeman, CEO of ACG Silicon Valley. "Philippe will be a wonderful addition to our board, and I am excited to introduce The Growth Challenge to our platform of world-class programs."
"I'm honored to be part of the ACG Silicon Valley family and grateful for the opportunity to serve on its board," said Bouissou. "I have a lot of respect for the organization, its mission and its values. My Partners and I are very much looking forward to working with ACG member CEOs on The Growth Challenge to tackle the complex growth puzzle that often eludes even the most experienced management teams."
ACGSV is dedicated to providing business professionals with direct and referral access to key business leaders, transformational thought leadership, and practical experiences for career growth and business development.
