Explore Talent announces a casting for Christopher Nolan's scifi film. Ten supporting roles and fifteen extras are needed for Interstellar, a science fiction film directed by Christopher Nolan. Male and female actors aged 18 to 60 are wanted for supporting roles, while actors aged five to 70 are desired for extras.
Union and non-union submissions are accepted for any of the roles. Pay rate for the casting is at $842 per day, depending on the roles and the experience.
The movie is about a group of space explorers who ended up in an alternative dimension when they entered a wormhole. It was written by Nolan and his brother, Jonathan, and is produced by Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures.
The film, which has been scheduled for release on November 7, 2014, is based on Caltech physicist Kip Thorne’s real scientific theories about gravity fields. It explores the complex science of gravity and black holes. It also touches on the theories posed by Albert Einstein, which have never been proven.
The actors and actresses already cast in the movie include Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow and Timothee Chalamet. ExploreTalent's submission deadline for this acting audition is on August 4.
