Active Navigation’s Growth Strategy Continues with Multiple Key Hires

The global data privacy and governance software provider has welcomed five new specialists to its growing team

Active Navigation, a data privacy and governance software provider, today announced the appointment of several key hires as it continues to scale aggressively. Active Navigation’s newest team members Brooke Seely, Lynsey Jensen, Tom Jacobs, Damon Scott, and Brian Kim further strengthen the company’s software and services offering to meet the demands of a growing list of clients including the United States Marine Corps, Ameritas and BAE Systems.

Information governance expert Brooke Seely has been hired to lead Customer Success. Seely is responsible for supporting the company’s rapidly expanding customer base. Seely joins Active Navigation with over 15 years of experience working as a liaison between product management, engineering, customers and sales. Seely brings rich experience having worked for Symantec, Veritas and DISCO.

Lynsey Jensen has been appointed as the Senior Federal Partner Manager and will play a crucial role in building Active Navigation’s partner ecosystem. Jensen is tasked with helping federal agencies and partners understand the right way to leverage file analysis for data protection, cloud migration and M-19-21 compliance. Jensen was most recently the Federal Channel Manager at Alfresco.

Tom Jacobs has been hired as a Senior Federal Sales Executive and comes to Active Navigation with over 27 years of experience. Jacobs will be helping DoD clients improve their content and data compliance as well as with on-going information governance. Jacobs has impressive experience, having worked with Ricoh, EFI and Kodak.

Damon Scott comes to Active Navigation from Verizon Enterprise Solutions where he most recently contracted as a Product Marketing Manager. Scott will manage all product marketing and focus on guiding the long-term product roadmap, product positioning and developing effective messaging strategies.

Brian Kim is a seasoned services practitioner and joins Active Navigation as a Professional Services Lead. Kim will work closely with clients to create strategic solutions for their data privacy and governance needs. As an attorney, Kim’s expertise spans all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) life cycle with a broad range of skills in client infrastructure.
