Active Directory Self Service Added to Tools4ever's Password Reset Solution SSRPM
(PRWEB) June 09, 2016 -- Tools4ever, a market leader in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), has added new features to Self Service Reset Password Management (SSRPM). The main feature is Active Directory Self-Service, allowing end users to edit attributes in Active Directory. In addition, end users can now select a language, fuzzy answer comparison has been added (allowing you to set how many characters of the answer must match), and SSRPM now supports SMS via HTTP request.
The new feature “Active Directory Self-Service” allows end users to change certain attributes in Active Directory. Attributes that can be changed or seen by the end user are determined by the administrator. The end user logs into the SSRPM portal and sees which fields can be edited. It is also possible for an end user to upload a photo. Historically, an end user could only edit these attributes by requesting them from the Service Desk or if the organisation had a custom solution. Now an end user can easily manage his/her own AD attributes.
Robert Doswell, Managing Director of Tools4ever, Ltd said: “With Self Service Reset Password Management we strive to facilitate end users to do more without the intervention of the Service Desk. Active Directory Self Service is another great addition to accomplish this and ensures that data in the Active Directory is perfectly up-to-date.”
