Adrienne Fox pursues new marketing push for 2012 nativity retelling
SKIPTON, England (PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- Combining science fiction and religion in a fresh, action-packed take on the nativity, comes Adrienne Fox’s spiritual book, “Star Struck” (published by AuthorHouse). Her book will be receiving new marketing materials in an attempt to reach a larger, newer audience.
“I looked up at the stars one cold, frosty night just before Christmas,” Fox says. “The Milky Way was draped across the sky and the planets were pulsating brilliantly. I thought, ‘I wonder how many people have seen this and were reminded about ‘the Star in the East’?’”
“Star Struck” is an interstellar opera telling the story of Stella the Guiding Star and her voyage to help the three wise men reach Bethlehem. Stella, along with the Three Shepherds, Three Kings and the Rogue Planets, are involved in a battle between good and evil. As the galactic elements fight a fierce battle in the heavens, the bewildered shepherds and kings are maneuvered to their destination.
Stella Star, with the help of angelic hosts and the Milky Way, guides the shepherds and kings across earth to Bethlehem. The Devil, disguised as Halle the Comet, enlists the evil elements in the cosmos to disrupt Stella Star’s progress.
An excerpt from “Star Struck”:
“The Milky Way was in a mess. Stella had been appointed Star in Charge, and she was finding her job hard, because some of the Old Stars who felt that they had been passed over for promotion were jealous and had begun to encouraging the Junior Stars to stray out of Orbit just to annoy her. She was constantly having to go along the margins and tidy them up because Little Stars kept shooting off out of line. Stella had been told that if her path of twinkling light in the Heavens became smudged at the edges, then the tiny inhabitants of the other Universes would grow very panicky, believing that their Worlds were going to end.”
