200 Unit Franchise Launches “Give Five, Change Lives” Campaign to Raise $100,000 for St. Jude

AdvantaClean, the fastest-growing Light Environmental Services™ franchise, has entered into a strategic partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in order to help the world understand, treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

AdvantaClean is pledging to raise at least $100,000 this year on behalf of St. Jude. To kick off its fundraising efforts, the brand has launched its “Give Five, Change Lives” initiative, which encourages customers to donate $5 for every job AdvantaClean performs. The brand will also institute a number of local fundraising efforts to raise awareness through its network of nearly 100 franchisees who operate more than 200 territories across the country, and plans to host a golf tournament and other large-scale events later this fall.

“We are 100 percent committed to making a positive impact in our community and making a lasting difference in people’s lives. Through the Advantaclean Foundation, we’ve done countless pro-bono jobs over the years to help sick children recover in a clean, mold- and allergen-free home. Our core mission is to make a difference in people’s lives and this partnership is a natural next step that allows us to take our efforts to the national level and raise awareness of this important cause,” said AdvantaClean Founder and CEO Jeff Dudan.

AdvantaClean has been doing charitable partnerships at the regional level since 2008. Franchisees have provided free services, such as mold removal and water damage restoration, as a way to give back to the communities they serve. Also, through partnerships with local hospitals, they have been able to provide free residential cleanup and repair services to families who have children with cancer and weakened immune systems. The partnership with St. Jude is the brand’s first national cause marketing partnership that aligns franchisees across the country.

“Our franchisees are generous, charitable and eager to continue finding ways to give back. They have been very vocal about their excitement about our partnership with St. Jude, and they are excited to be participating and are ready to make a mark on such a worthy cause,” said AdvantaClean’s Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer Matt Phillips.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center devoted solely to children. Treatments developed at St. Jude have helped increase the survival rate for childhood cancer from 20 percent to 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. Over the next decade, the hospital is working to increase that survival rate to 90 percent. Furthermore, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food – because all a family should worry about is bringing their child back home.
