SEARCHEN® Releases Statement on Report of 1,000 Percent Mobile Conversion Increase
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 02, 2013 -- SEARCHEN®, an Internet advertising and search engine marketing company, has announced a marketing research project by a major global retailer that suggests mobile usage is soaring, and fast. The report measured conversions via mobile users; conducted from August 2012 through August 2013.
“Our membership at the IAB ensures our company is first to hear about new digital trends, knowledge, and advertising research,” said John Colascione, Chief Executive Officer of SEARCHEN NETWORKS®. “This report on conversions, measured across both desktop and mobile, represents a phenomenal increase in usage, within just 12 months, that web based advertisers simply cannot ignore.”
According to the report, mobile conversions were measured by a major retailer with 330 stores in the U.S. Conversions accounted for just seven percent in August 2012. By August 2013, just one year later, mobile conversions skyrocketed to nearly half (48 percent) of the campaign's total conversions. This represents a growth of 1,000 percent.
Run, the programmatic ad provider behind the study, has released and infographic on the data here. The data was also shared with RTM Daily.
"Reports like these are why our company is spending more and more time researching and working on newer technologies like Responsive HTML, mobile usage and mobile app development," Colascione added.
