The Aeroflow Healthcare pumping room was recently renovated to best support moms.

Aeroflow Healthcare is pleased to announce their newly renovated lactation room, which offers a comfortable and quiet spot for moms to breastfeed or use their breast pump. Equipped with a mini-kitchen and a refrigerator for milk storage, the room was thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of working moms.

“If we are truly dedicated to seeing mothers succeed in the workplace, we need to offer a quiet and welcoming space to pump at work,” says Jennifer Jordan, Director of Mom and Baby at Aeroflow Healthcare. “Our new lactation room was designed to give our moms a private space to use their breast pump.”

Aeroflow fully supports breastfeeding mothers and has worked diligently to design a pumping room that could fulfill the needs of a working mom. The renovated space allows for adequate time for the expression of breastmilk, access to a sanitary pumping station and access to hygienic options for the storage of breast milk. These are all recommended and optimal conditions for a woman to successfully breast pump in the workplace.

The company hopes to support breastfeeding employees through the updated lactation room, which coincides with their efforts to give mothers the time necessary to use their breast pump while at work. The room is currently open to the public, and moms can find the room on Moms Pump Here and the mobile app Pumpspotting.

Aeroflow Healthcare was founded Asheville, NC in 2001 as a home oxygen provider, and has since grown to become one of the leading durable medical equipment providers nationwide.
