AESQC.com Web Portal, a Quality Control Resource, Now Available from AESKU
WENDELSHEIM, De. and OAKLAND, Calif. (PRWEB) March 07, 2019 -- AESKU.GROUP – a science-focused manufacturer of autoimmune, allergy, food intolerance, and infectious disease diagnostics and automation – is pleased to announce the launch of the AESQC.com web portal. This website is an online quality control resource giving customers access to lot-specific information, including pattern images for AESQC quality controls.
In July this year, AESKU launched the AESQC IFA QC product line which is designed to produce specific classical autoantibody patterns and is compatible with ICAP nomenclature (ICAP terminology is intended to improve standardization of pattern interpretation across the international medical and scientific community).
AESQC.com gives customers access to high-quality reference images generated by AESKU during production of each AESQC IFA lot, for comparison to results obtained in their own respective laboratories. Customers will also soon be able to upload their own QC images for comparison to their peer groups.
“One reason laboratories have been slow to return to IFA, even after the 2009 ACR position statement reiterated it as the gold standard method for ANA testing, is the inherent subjectivity of immunofluorescence interpretation,” said Dr. Torsten Matthias, founder and CEO of AESKU.GROUP. “AESKU’s new IFA QC products, together with the AESQC.com website, will help laboratories around the world harmonize their IFA testing and ensure their methods give patients the most accurate results possible.”
“We want to help clinical laboratories improve their IFA testing and simplify IFA data analysis and use. So, along with the shared pattern nomenclature and high-quality reference images that we make for each QC lot, certificates of analysis and lot-specific production notes are available at AESQC.com,” said François Lopez, global sales and marketing manager at AESKU.GROUP. “AESQC.com users will join an international network of IFA laboratories including AESKU’s customers in over 90 countries using more than 350 HELIOS IFA processor + readers around the world.”
