Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- Atlanta-based Jvion, developer of leading predictive technologies designed to protect provider revenues, was recently selected by AHIMA to participate in the AHIMA 2013 National Convention and Exhibit Innovation Track “Creating Health Intelligence through Innovation.” Only eight abstracts were chosen from a national pool of applicants through a juried process. Of the selected participants, three professionals were invited to present during the conference. Jvion’s presentation, “Stopping Waste at the Source - Findings on How to Reduce Healthcare Waste through Provider-focused Intelligence,” was selected in the top three of all proposed topics and will be presented October 29 from 4:30-5:00 PM ET.
Jvion’s presentation will focus on a new approach and solution, developed through a collaboration between Jvion, leading provider systems, and clinical experts, to help providers address areas of financial waste. Representatives from the company and a pilot provider site will discuss how new algorithms and machine-learning technologies can produce highly actionable outputs that help diminish waste across multiple dimensions. They will also present findings on how these outputs can be applied to predict, prevent, and address potential areas of fiscal waste before a claim leaves a provider’s environment.
The AHIMA 2013 Convention and Exhibit will take place October 27-30, 2013 in Atlanta, GA. The event draws health information management (HIM) experts, leaders, and professionals from across the United States. This year’s convention will focus on HIM’s global transformation and promises to deliver some of the most important and engaging topics for the more than 6,000 attendees expected.
