Concerned with the current political situation in the globe and the war against terrorism, author Ahmad Ereiqat wanted to educate all parties about what is really inside the Qur’an, the most sacred book of the Islam. His new book, “A Basic Guide to Understanding the Qur’an” is aimed at promoting peace and understanding between the diverse people and faiths of the world.

“A Basic Guide to Understanding the Qur’an” is a complete guide that makes the Qur’an accessible, clear and easy to understand by all. It is meant to: 1) help the reader make an intelligent and well-educated judgment about the religion of Islam, based on the personal knowledge gained from reading the direct interpretations of verses from the Qur’an, 2) help the reader understand how and why Islam is a way of living and, 3) show the common areas between Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

The book is the first guide of its kind. Readers interested in a variety of topics, from faith and culture to politics and current events, will find much to learn from “A Basic Guide to Understanding the Qur’an,” giving them the content and the context needed to reevaluate preconceptions or gain a newfound understanding of subjects that may have been unfamiliar or foreign to them.

With his book, Ereiqat removes the mystery of the Qur’an and helps bring about a better understanding of Islam to bridge the gap between cultures for a better world of tolerance.
