The Airport Parking Finder website, which aims to help travellers flying out of the major UK international airports, has been revised to include all the latest changes to the main parking options.

There have never been so many options on offer for leaving a car or other type of motor vehicle at the airport before embarking on a flight. Whether setting off for a family holiday, or departing on a business trip, leaving a car behind at the airport has never been so easy.

However, with so many options available for airport car parking, it can be easy to get overwhelmed and even make the wrong choice when choosing from the multiple options at each UK airport. Picking the wrong type of parking can be a costly mistake due to the extra charges involved, and also the greater risk of missing a flight due to choosing offsite parking by mistake. To help solve these problems, the Airport Parking Finder website aims to demystify the different types of parking available to help fliers make the right choice when starting their journey.

The first page on the website to get an update was the information on the Manchester airport parking options ( This page of the website now contains information on all of the different types of parking available, including the pick-up and drop-off options, as well as the short and long stay car parks. The revised information now includes the different pricing structures in place too.

Over on the Bristol airport parking section ( the website, the differences between the silver and premier parking options are discussed, in order to help travellers decide which the best option for them is. This page also aims to help users decide if the extra costs represent good value for money or not.

The Edinburgh airport parking webpages ( have had a similar makeover and now include detailed information on the rules and regulations which cover the use of the short and long stay car parks, and also both the onsite and offsite variations of each type.

When speaking to the manager of this independent website, he explained the purpose of the site and why he had chosen to put in all this work to cover the different types of car parking facilities on offer at the different UK airports. “Well, one day I was making a trip to the airport and before setting off in my car, I didn’t do any research on the different parking options. When I approached the airport, I had no idea which type of parking I needed for my weekend trip – was it a short stay, a long stay – I had no clue whether I needed the drop-off and pick-up car park, or the onsite option” he revealed. “It was out of this frustration and confusion that the Airport Parking Finder website was born and I began cataloguing the different parking options in one easy to find online location” he continued.

Although the website started with the creator’s local Newcastle airport parking ( facilities, it quickly grew to cover the Heathrow airport parking options and then grew to include many more. The website also has provisions for travellers to check the availability of the different parking options at their chosen airport, and even book a parking space online to avoid disappointment.
