ALCC American Language Announces a New Pre-TOEFL Preparation Course on Sundays
NEW YORK, N.Y. (PRWEB) July 19, 2016 -- ALCC American Language is excited to announce a new Pre-TOEFL Preparation class, which will be held on Sunday mornings between nine and one. Enrolled students will receive assistance in four different areas including reading, speaking, writing, and listening to prepare for advanced learning at the college level.
ALCC now has a total of six TOEFL preparation courses, all taught by certified ESL instructors. The new weekend class gives students the opportunity to take a weekend program in addition to weekday classes. The classes implement current technology and ESL techniques, including in-class computers that administer TOEFL iBT practice tests.
"For many of our students, the TOEFL is the key to furthering their educational or professional success," said Peter Pachter, vice president of ALCC American Language. "With this in mind, our TOEFL preparation courses challenge advanced students through reading, writing, listening and speaking exercises that will help them prepare for higher learning opportunities. We want our students to succeed; that's why we are creating a more flexible class schedule that will facilitate success."
ALCC developed their Pre-TOEFL and TOEFL Preparation program to help mid-level to advanced-level students prepare for the TOEFL iBT test, which is an admissions requirement for many American colleges and universities.
These courses cover the reading, comprehension, writing, grammar and oral skills needed for the TOEFL examination. ALCC's new Sunday morning Pre-TOEFL Preparation class will be offered at its Manhattan location.
