People turn first to the Internet to learn about alcohol use disorders and how they can help themselves.
(PRWEB) October 31, 2015
Sunshine Coast Health Center, a top-rated drug rehabilitation and alcohol treatment center in British Columbia, Canada, at http://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca, is proud to announce Fall 2015 upgrades to its informational page on alcohol treatment. Alcoholism and the misuse of alcohol, of course, are major problems facing many Canadians not only in British Columbia but in nearby provinces such as Alberta.
"People turn first to the Internet to learn about alcohol use disorders and how they can help themselves or a loved one combat this addiction," explained Casey Jordan, Marketing Manager for the Center. "We have upgraded our informational page on alcohol treatment to better serve that first look on the Web for information. Doing this for Fall is an important time, as the holidays - unfortunately - are a time when both family tensions and holiday festivities can exacerbate addictions."

- Alcohol Detoxification Services.
- Information on the 'first step' towards recovery.
- Mental Health Services.
- Information on how mental health counseling, based on a non-12 step methodology, is part of the Center's value proposition.
- Information on how group and individual counseling work together to help an individual recover.
Additional sections explain a "typical" client as well as the philosophy of having an all-male client base.
