Packaging Innovations Show hailed as resounding success by Alexir
(PRWEB UK) 30 October 2013 -- The Alexir Partnership presented themselves as 'The Innovation Centre' on their stand B9 at this October's Packaging Innovations Show at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. Alexir are well-known in the packaging industry for being first-to-market with carton board packaging in market sectors dominated by other packaging materials. It was this reputation for innovation that focused the sales and marketing strategy and contributed to a heavy footfall throughout the two-day show.
Packaging Innovations London is now in its fourth successful year. The event provides vital inspiration and ideas for packaging professionals, as well as information about the latest trends and advances in the market. Having always advocated the show as an excellent opportunity to arrange meetings with potential clients, the sales team at Alexir are now busy following up the leads. It is always important to Alexir to build relationships with clients and the face-to-face contact at the event gave them the perfect opportunity to arrange meetings with clients, some of whom had traveled specifically to meet up with the team.
Before the show the sales team at Alexir identified some key clients with whom they wished to do business and targeted them in a promotional mailout. This promotional pack was a huge success, both on and off the stand and now forms part of a giveaway competition on Alexir's Facebook page.
Also the launch of Cartocan® on the stand caused quite a stir with many visitors wanting to see and feel the actual product. Cartocan® is the first and only cylindrical packaging format made from carton board to be filled aseptically with liquid and have a shelf life of up to 12 months unchilled. It is an exciting new development in the drinks industry and provides a means for brands to be an environmentally-friendly alternative for premium products.
