Pacific Prime Clients with Allianz Receive Enhanced Health Insurance Benefits
(PRWEB) November 11, 2013 -- Pacific Prime clients with Allianz Worldwide Care have been seeing several enhancements to their health insurance policies as the insurer has recently improved the benefits in its international health insurance plans for individuals and groups. The changes came into effect on November 1st, 2013.
On the standard Core plans, "palliative care and long term care" has been split into two separate benefits, and cover has been extended on both. The rehabilitation treatment benefit has been enhanced to cover rehabilitation treatment within 14 days of discharge after the acute medical and surgical treatment ceases. A separate benefit for prescribed physiotherapy has been created for the standard out-patient plans.
On the Gold level out-patient plan, Allianz Worldwide Care has added benefits for prescribed drugs and dietician fees. The routine health check benefit on the Gold and Silver out-patient plans has been renamed "Health and well-being checks", and it now covers additional tests. Members with a Gold level out-patient plan, for example, are now covered for consultations for genetic pre-disposition for breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
Allianz Worldwide Care has also made some recent changes to premium zones, the geographical sections that determine the amount of an insurance premium in a certain country. Germany moved from "H" zone to "N" zone, Algeria moved from "L" zone to "J" zone, and Thailand and Vietnam moved from "H" zone to "G" zone.
Allianz Worldwide Care specializes in providing health insurance solutions for people overseas. For individuals and groups, Allianz provides a core plan with basic benefits in four levels - Premier, Club, Classic and Essential - plus an Executive level for corporate plans. Clients can add out-patient, maternity, dental and repatriation cover, and choose from three geographical areas of cover: Worldwide, Worldwide excluding USA or Africa only. All these options allow clients to find the health insurance plan that's tailored to their particular needs.
