Allied Anesthesia Donates $13K to St. Joseph Behavioral Health
Orange, Calif. (PRWEB) November 22, 2016 -- Southern California-based anesthesia medical group Allied Anesthesia today announced a $13,000 donation to support the St. Joseph Hospital Behavioral Health Center of Excellence in Orange, Calif. Dr. Alex Ramirez, Allied Anesthesiologist and steering committee member for the hospital, presented the donation at the hospital’s annual event, Celebration 2016, last month.
Ramirez, who has been with Allied Anesthesia for 27 years, said, “I and every physician in Allied are very mindful of the importance of the mental and behavioral health of our patients. Any deviation from good mental health can have a significant effect on the perioperative experience. We’ll always enthusiastically support anything that leads to the early diagnosis and treatment of mental illness because we want the best outcomes for our patients. The Center of Excellence does an exceedingly good job diagnosing and caring for our patients who struggle with mental illness. So, of course, we’re thrilled for the opportunity to support what they’re doing.”
Allied Anesthesia COO George Kanaly said, “Our medical group has been strongly dedicated to the service of St. Joseph Hospital for many years. We’re delighted to again have this opportunity to provide support and join in this celebration. Allied Anesthesia is looking forward to continuing our support, and we wish the foundation continued success in all its endeavors for many years to come.”
