Global Association of Accounting & Law Firms Alliott Group Concludes Agreement as Commercial Partner to the Commonwealth Trade Initiative
London (PRWEB UK) 19 May 2016 -- Alliott Group is delighted to announce its involvement as a Commercial Partner in the Commonwealth Trade Initiative (CTI) which launched on 18 May 2016.
The CTI has been set up by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) which facilitates trade and investment throughout the 53 countries of the Commonwealth and supports private sector companies and governments to promote economic activity. The CWEIC works with its member companies to expand their businesses and to help them invest in Commonwealth countries.
At the heart of the CTI is the Commonwealth Trade Platform, a digital business platform that has been designed to connect thousands of buyers and suppliers across Commonwealth markets to enable them to gain access to up to date market intelligence and seek advice from experts such as those within Alliott Group’s membership who can help to unlock new trading opportunities.

The Commonwealth Trade Initiative official launch event was held on 18 May at Marlborough House on Pall Mall in London, with Lord Marland, Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council and Commonwealth Secretary-General, Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC welcoming CTI participants including Paul Marmor, Head of International Services at London law firm member Sherrards Solicitors and David Gibbs, International Corporate Tax Partner at London accounting member Alliotts.
