Our new Beta Head was designed with defensive players, offensive players, the changing pace of the game and even stringers in mind. After our initial prototype testing phase, we made necessary changes and are proud to launch another superior product.

As the game of lacrosse grows steadily across the country, advances in technology for equipment that meets the demands of this highly physical and fast paced sport are critical. Alpha Lacrosse, a west coast lacrosse company, is answering that call with the release of their Beta Head.

As the game has evolved, industry leaders have responded. Among those leaders in this new wave of products is Alpha Lacrosse, with an advanced, top-notch all-new Beta Head. This high-level head is designed to make lacrosse more accessible for beginners and more advantageous for seasoned professional players.

Alpha Lacrosse focus on quality was on full display in Alpha's previously released A-series shafts, which ushered in the development of a new, Carbon Power Technology (CPT) that "redefines the standards of durability and design". They have done it again with the Beta Head. Constructed using proprietary nylon material, the Beta Head is resistant to breakage under even the most intense conditions.

Alpha Lacrosse Founder and CEO, and San Diego State University Offensive Coordinator of the Men’s Lacrosse Team, Bryan Bome, knows the game of lacrosse well. “I come from a high level lacrosse playing background so I know how important it is to consider every aspect of the game when designing new, advanced equipment to help continue to grow the game of lacrosse.” He states. “Our new Beta Head was designed with defensive players, offensive players, the changing pace of the game and even stringers in mind. After our initial prototype testing phase, we made necessary changes and are proud to launch another superior product.”

The Beta Head prototype was launched earlier this summer. Per feedback from many product reviewers, Alpha Lacrosse added some thickness to the wide scoop, which increases the overall stiffness of the head and makes it easier to scoop through a ground ball. They also removed material from the back rails changing the head to be slightly more offset. This adds to the hold, while still maintaining the quick release feature of their straight offset. Lastly, Alpha added some hand finished texture to the top rails for additional visual appeal.

The Alpha Lacrosse Beta Head is designed to increase release speed to adapt quickly during intense games making it easier for players to experience greater force in their shots and execute more precise passes under duress. No more laboring to get the ball out of the pocket and getting overtaken by opponents. It has extra material where needed and less material where players don’t need it, including plenty of string holes providing stringers with multiple options for customization.

While other brands have released similar forms of carbon fiber sticks of late, it's Alpha who's going the extra mile by offering multiple levels of flex—stiff and mid—so players can identify their perfect weapon of choice. Alpha understands that every player has different competitive needs, and their goal is to create products that help people discover their true potential.

The new Alpha Lacrosse Beta Head launch comes on the heels of an otherwise busy summer for Alpha. The company exercised its mojo on the National Demo Tour, working with hundreds of youth lacrosse players from around the country to valuable insights, tips on how to improve your game, and the importance of the lacrosse lifestyle off the field.
