Sharon Springs Coverage Launches Charity Partnership with Promise 686 to Support Foster and Adoptive Children and Families
Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) May 03, 2016 -- Sharon Springs Coverage’s newly minted community involvement program has teamed up with Promise 686 to serve children who have been orphaned and fostered, and the churches and families who care for them. Donations to this worthy cause are now being accepted at: https://www.crowdrise.com/keeping-our-promise-to-the-community/fundraiser/jeremyusery.
Promise 686 is a ministry which assists families and churches who care for vulnerable children by providing financial assistance, community support and adoptive and foster care-related education. They strive to fulfill the promise that ‘God sets the lonely in families’ (Psalm 68:6). Promise 686’s project, Live the Promise, was established to grow the base of foster families and to support them through a local volunteer Care Community. The Care Community provides meals, babysitting, transportation and respite care. The initiative operates with the premise that if every church commits at least one family to fostering a child, every foster child in Georgia will have a home.
“We are very pleased to be fundraising for Promise 686,” said Jeremy Usery, owner of Sharon Springs Coverage. “It’s a great fit for our new community involvement program. In order to build a better, stronger community, we must care for its most vulnerable members. The needs of children should always come first in our hearts.”
The caring team at Sharon Springs is hard at work promoting the campaign through social media and other avenues, even featuring Promise 686 in their monthly electronic and print magazine. Our Hometown magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in Alpharetta and surrounding communities, reserves a full page to showcase the campaign for Promise 686. Sharon Springs has demonstrated their commitment to the community by the establishment of a master charity program, Agents of Change, of which the current campaign is part. “Our team is passionate about helping others, and we have promised to assist those in need in our community by selecting a new group, family or individual to support every two to three months,” promised Usery.
