SureVest Insurance Group and the Freelon ALS Fund Announce Cooperative Charity Event to Benefit Duke ALS Clinic
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) May 23, 2017 -- SureVest Insurance Group, an insurance and financial planning agency that serves business and residential clients in and around the Raleigh and Charlotte regions, is embarking on a joint charity effort in conjunction with the Freelon ALS Fund to generate local donations for the Duke ALS Clinic.
A Rally Day to raise community awareness and support for the Freelon ALS Fund charity drive is scheduled for May 24th, and a Summer Block Party/Open House will take place on June 15th in the parking lot of the SureVest offices. All donations gathered during this charity event will be donated directly to the Duke ALS Clinic.
“There are nearly 6,000 new cases of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) diagnosed each year, so there’s no time to waste in finding a cure for those who have already been diagnosed,” says Chris Clark, executive manager and principal agent of the SureVest Insurance Group.
To generate exposure for the charity drive and share information about ALS with the local community, Clark and the SureVest team have established an email bulletin system and are connecting with nearby residents over social media channels.
