Althea Patrick Calls for Effective Christians in New Book
Henrico, Va. (PRWEB) January 16, 2014 -- For author Althea Patrick, being a nice person does not necessarily equate to being an effective Christian. In her new book, “Nice People Rob God” (published by WestBow Press), Patrick clears the path to salvation by showing readers how to be an effective, change agent for God.
“Nice people rob God because of lack of vision,” observes Patrick. “Consequently, they become immobile toward seeking the kingdom of God and the strategic plan He has for you.”
“Nice People Rob God” outlines what Patrick believes a nice person to be by society’s standards versus an effective Christian and the defining lines that separate the two. Patrick urges readers to do more than attend church, read the Bible and return home just to repeat it all over again next Sunday. The difference between the two is nice people fail to seek their purpose in God’s plan and, as a result, rob him. The end result produces absence of productivity. Patrick adds, “Effective Christians line up with God’s plan.”
Instead, she calls for readers to pursue good works, give back to their communities and be living examples of Jesus Christ. By being effective Christians, many readers will discover the process of seeking the kingdom of heaven first in order to live life with purpose and stop robbing God.
