Jim Hass - “For years, customers have wanted remote access to start their steam generators using their existing smart home systems...we focused on what our customers requested: integration with existing systems."

Smart homes systems are becoming more affordable and easier to install, and to add luxury to this convenience, Amerec has introduced the MySteam feature to connect an Amerec steam generator to most smart home systems.
While many controls provide functions to program the time or temperature at which the steam generator should prepare the shower, the integration with a Smart Home system allows for the steam shower to be enjoyed when it was not originally scheduled or planned. Since many steam bathers do not change the temperature of the steam shower from one experience to the next, MySteam provides a simple on/off functionality to start pre-heating the steam shower allowing for a more efficient use of time.
Now available for the AT and AK series generators, as well as an add-on for many current installations, MySteam is designed to provide an affordable, reliable option to home automation of heat bathing. With a simple addition of a terminal block to the existing printed circuit board, the Amerec steam unit is ready for automation.
Jim Hass, sales director for Amerec, stated, “For years, customers have wanted remote access to start their steam generators using their existing smart home systems. While some solutions for remote access offer mobile apps, we focused on what our customers requested: integration with existing systems.”
