Amergent announces Dennis McCarthy to serve as executive vice president of account services

Amergent, a Moore company, is pleased to announce, Dennis McCarthy has joined their team of talent as executive vice president of account services. A direct marketing and donor management software company, Amergent is dedicated to serving the nonprofit industry.

With demonstrated success in account management, strategy, analytics, integrated marketing, and constituent relationship management, McCarthy has spent his career leading and facilitating change at some of North America’s largest nonprofits, helping them engage with their supporters and communities. McCarthy joins Amergent from Blackbaud, where as director of sales, he led strategic account executives serving nonprofit organizations across the country, including American Red Cross, Susan G. Komen, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and National Geographic Foundation.

Also, while at Blackbaud he co-authored Diversity in Giving, a study providing in-depth analysis of the priorities, values and attitudes of African-American, Asian and Hispanic donors, as well as Blackbaud Institute Online Giving reports.

Prior to his tenure with Blackbaud, McCarthy was general manager of Epsilon where he led the marketing service and technology teams for some of the company’s largest accounts.
