AMG Cooking School started a fun and interesting way to teach people how to cook through a new “Learn While You Eat” series. The school was started by Owner/Chef Alison Milwe Grace and event planner Olivia Savarese at AMG Catering and Events’ professional kitchen.
The school has courses available for both children and adults that help to establish the fundamentals of cooking and beyond. Currently the adult school provides single session, two-hour classes full of hands-on instruction. Children’s courses are available for kids age eight and up for three-week sessions throughout the year. In these courses, topics range from food preparation, presentation, and safety while cooking.
Several special topics for children are covered in various sessions, these include topics such as “Sensational Side Dishes”, “Asian Dumplings”, and “Breakfast For Dinner”.
The school space is well built and cozy, accommodating up to 20 students within a session. The owners also conduct various corporate team building events.
