How Social Media Is Responsible For Today’s Modern Fairytale Stories
(PRWEB UK) 3 July 2013 -- It’s hard to believe that only last Christmas was the very first time that Anassa ONeill's family first heard her sing.
At just 12 years old Anassa’s family were blown away by the power and maturity in her voice – and this is where this online fairytale really begins.
Her family filmed Anassa singing the Nina Simone classic, Feeling Good, and posted it on YouTube for family and friends to watch. Before too long, the video had gone viral with 198,130 views and continued to build momentum with Tweets from well-known personalities, including former footballer turned pundit Robbie Savage and legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
Boyband Lawson also urged their fans to log on and listen to Anassa’s soulful and distinctive voice. To her amazement they did. The 13-year-old - who has never had a singing lesson - also writes her own songs, and has since posted her rendition of Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child”, and “We Can’t Stop” by Miley Cyrus.
To the surprise of her family, Anassa’s version of Feeling Good was also recently shown on French TV!
This is only the beginning of Anassa’s story, and with the power of social media on her side, big things are bound to happen!
