Devery Prince Insurance Agency reveals the latest campaign in their Agents of Change movement benefitting the people of Anchorage, Wasilla, and surrounding communities in Alaska. The agency has decided to continue support for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (TSA), a nonprofit organization which strives to provide advocacy, resources and support for sufferers of a rare genetic disorder which affects a young Wasilla girl, Caitlin Racenet. Donations to this worthy cause may now be made at:

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder which causes tumors to grow within vital organs, including the brain, heart, skin, kidneys, bones and lungs. The tumors then cause many grave health problems, such as epilepsy, autism, heart disease, mental disabilities, facial disfigurement, kidney failure, lung disease, and death. Caitlin is 10 years old and has been living with TSC for 9 years. The sheer number of tumors in her brain has resulted in numerous serious health problems, for which she currently takes 11 different medications. Caitlin’s family is fundraising to benefit the TSA in an effort to find more effective treatments which will shrink the tumors, help manage the symptoms of TSC and hopefully, one day result in a cure.

“Our team has been so deeply affected by Caitlin’s fight, and her family’s determination to help her, that we felt moved to continue our fundraiser for the TSA,” said Devery Prince, owner of Devery Prince Insurance Agency. “This is truly a nightmare disorder, and we hope the whole community will rally behind this girl and this cause which is so dear to our hearts.”

Passionately committed to strengthening their community by helping one person at a time, the agency itself has pledged to donate $10 to the TSA for each and every recommendation they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary, making it so very easy for everyone to help without impacting their own pocketbooks.
