Horizon Video Technologies releases Horizon for Android devices, an app which enables users to record videos horizontally regardless of their device's orientation. The app is free and available to download on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

Horizon Video Technologies, a mobile technology company, today announced the release of Horizon for Android devices. Horizon enables users to record videos horizontally regardless of their device’s orientation. Horizon is free and available to download on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

Horizon has three straightening modes including Flex with Tilt to Zoom capability, which intelligently adjusts the zooming scale when a user tilts the device to produce a smoother result. Users can also choose among three ‘Video Quality’ options to help manage video quality and conserve memory space.

  • Resolutions include VGA (640x480), HD (1280x720) and Full HD (1920x1080)
  • Ability to record videos with the front or back camera for greater flexibility
  • Three video quality options to help manage memory space: High, Medium, Low
  • Tilt to Zoom functionality enables users to zoom in and out just by rotating their device
  • Videos are stored in the DCIM folder allowing other apps to access them
  • Start/stop video recording using the device’s camera button
  • Horizon is listed as a camera add on application on Sony devices

English, Greek, German, Polish.

Pricing and Availability:
Horizon is free and provides users with the ability to record videos up to 15 seconds with the Horizon logo embedded in the video. Users can purchase additional functionality such as unlimited recording, priority customer support, removal of the Horizon logo and access to future features within the Horizon app for $0.99 in the US, subject to applicable taxes, and priced accordingly in other countries.
