With the mobile industry speeding up and the app world becoming a more frequent part of our lives, the creation of Android apps has hit an all time high. AppsGeyser, the Android app tool making platform, has itself seen over half a million apps created on its platform alone. In order to help app makers create the most successful apps AppsGeyser has carried out a market survey of the background of their app makers.
Through their research, AppsGeyser has distingushed that there are three main groups of app makers that create apps, these groups include; the teenage youth app makers, the small businesses and the group we have named the 30 somethings. Each of the three groups have different reasonings for creating apps and in turn focus upon different app making techniques when creating their apps.
The first group of app makers, the teenagers and youths, tend to make Android apps for fun using social networks and photo and video links to create their apps. The second group of app makers are the small businesses, they are seeking to create apps to help further their marketing plan for their existing business by turning their current websites into apps or creating smaller more focused apps with HTML to feature their latest sales, or opening times. The final group of app makers are those that have been named the 30 somethings, this group of app makers are more professional in their app making, seeking to create apps with the sole purpose of making money and creating a second income, these apps tend to be more technical and these app makers will, on average, create a minimum of 7 apps within their network.
