The Mechille Wilson Agency and the Humane Society of South East Texas Initiate Cooperative Charity Drive to Rescue Local Animals
Beaumont, TX (PRWEB) April 11, 2016 -- The Mechille Wilson Agency, a Texas-based insurance firm with offices that serve communities throughout the eastern region of the state, is teaming up with the South East Texas chapter of the Humane Society in a charity drive to raise funds earmarked for the care and treatment of unwanted and abused pets.
Humane Society of South East Texas offers animal rescue and foster care services, as well as a no-kill shelter. Animals rescued by the Humane Society might otherwise be euthanized, including animals being cared for by other county shelters. However, maintaining proper care and treatment for all these animals requires significant veterinary care, which can be expensive.
“We believe every community should have a no-kill shelter to rescue unwanted or neglected pets, and that’s why this charity drive to support the Humane Society shelter in Beaumont is so important,” explains Mechille Wilson, founder and director of the Mechille Wilson Agency.
Aided by her team of professionals, Wilson is working to construct an online social media portal and launch a community email bulletin to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining the Humane Society no-kill shelter. Wilson and her team won’t be stopping once the Humane Society charity drive is complete.
