The Golseth Agency and the Humane Society of North Texas Initiate Joint Charity Drive to Rescue Abandoned and Abused Animals
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 16, 2015 -- The Golseth Agency, a family owned insurance firm that serves the communities surrounding Dallas and Forth Worth, Texas, is announcing a charity drive in conjunction with the Humane Society of North Texas. The goal of the charity effort will be to raise funds that will be used to facilitate the rescue and re-homing of abused and abandoned animals in the area.
The Humane Society is one of the most recognizable animal advocacy and rescue operations in the world, and has been operating for nearly 150 years. The North Texas chapter of the Humane Society has been in operation since 1905, and strives to lead communities throughout Texas by providing animals with a safe haven through animal rescue, humane education, and life-saving resources.
“Few organizations have done as much for animals as the Humane Society, and this charity drive will help ensure the Texas chapter remains fully funded,” says Maria Golseth, owner and manager of the Golseth Agency. “It’s been an honor and a privilege to work with the Humane Society, but there are still a large number of animals in our area that need rescuing, care, and a new home.”
The Golseth Agency team is already hard at work contacting community members, business leaders, and clients alike as they advocate for the work done by the Humane Society and gather the funds needed to ensure the charity is able to continue operating at full capacity. The Golseth team is also building an online social media page to commemorate the charity effort in the hopes of gathering nationwide support.
As well as assisting the North Texas chapter of the Humane Society in their ongoing mission to provide rescue, care, and adoption services for local animals, the Golseth Agency has assisted several other local charities in the past few months, and plans to work with even more new charities, at the rate of one every 60 days, as part of an ongoing community involvement program.
