Annenberg Theater’s Dream Carver Highlights Family Homes
Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) July 03, 2014 -- Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams today announced that the much anticipated Children’s Summer Series at the Annenberg theater at the Palm Springs Art Museum, which will include Diana Cohn’s magical story Dream Carver, promises to offer a substantial boost to local family home sales as families head to the Valley to attend.
Based on her best-selling and award-winning children's book, this 55 minute bilingual musical production is the story of Mateo, a young boy in Oaxaca, Mexico whose father teaches him to carve small wooden toys in the traditional ways of his people. One night the child dreams of brightly colored animals who can dance and sing, and he awakens feeling compelled to carve his dream animals into life. The book was illustrated by Amy Cordova and has been praised by the Smithsonian Magazine as a Notable Book for Children for 2002.
