Although written for adolescents and young adults, readers of every age have already proclaimed that "Where is Thy Faith?" (published by AuthorHouse), by author Dr. Anntwanique D. Edwards, uniquely challenges anyone to overcome adversity. Edwards uses fictional stories to mirror real world issues experienced by youth today.

Each chapter identifies a character whose faith is tested by a tragedy or hardship. The stories demonstrate faith-based ways to overcome obstacles and challenges. One teenager says, "It’s one of those books that once you read one chapter you have to read another." Another teen says, "Generally, I don’t read books because I am not very fond of reading…and then I started reading [Where is Thy Faith?] and couldn’t put it down. I thought this book was very relatable for people my age and things I’ve been trough. One of the characters had a situation similar to my friend, he took his life. It was very heart touching when I read that part of the book because it was pretty much like it happened for me. It’s a great book to help encourage people."

The title is an expression of the doubt many young people feel when faced with catastrophic, life changing events including suicide, physical and sexual abuse, pregnancy, drugs and homosexuality. The author hopes to encourage teens and adults to begin non-judgmental discussions about some of the more serious issues plaguing today’s youth, especially in the church where many of these subjects are still taboo.

Written to help readers develop a deeper understanding of how to apply their faith in God to everyday situations, "Where is Thy Faith?" is not just another book about religion.
