AP Expo 2013 Announces Workshop on the Critical Success Factors to Launching, Managing and Furthering an e-Invoicing Project
Portland, ME (PRWEB) September 11, 2013 -- At the 12th Annual Accounts Payable 2013 Conference & Expo, Kerry Schmidt, APM (with distinction), director of accounting operations at University of Louisville, will lead a workshop titled “Emerging Topics in Accounts Payable at Colleges & Universities,” one of several taking place concurrently on day one of the event. Scheduled for Oct. 21-24, 2013, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV, AP Expo 2013 is produced by the Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM), a business unit within Diversified Business Communications. Schmidt has been at the University of Louisville for the past 10 years, with responsibilities for oversight of all accounts payable and travel functions for the University, as well as all business functions within the Controller’s Office—along the way spearheading various technological advancements. Over her 18 year career, she has also held senior positions in accounts receivable and customer service. Schmidt received her IOFM certification in February 2012 and led eight others on her staff to do likewise—two with distinction. Kerry received a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and her Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Louisville.
