An Intelligent Brainstorming Application was Featured on NewsWatch Television on October 16, 2014
(PRWEB) October 24, 2014 -- “BrainPlots” by Cognitee was featured on NewsWatch as part of its monthly AppWatch, which features the latest and coolest mobile applications on the iOS, Android, and Windows markets. Andrew Tropeano, a mobile technology expert and host of NewsWatch, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how it organizes brainstorming and manages creativity.
One of the greatest challenges in the office or classroom is managing creativity. When students or workers are in a room, brainstorming over a topic alone, they often lose perspective without another person to offer feedback or keep them on track. Cognitee has built BrainPlots, an iPad app, to act as that second colleague or student.
BrainPlots is built to organize brainstorming and report creation so users can clearly see any logical flaws or cognitive biases. With the app, users drop ideas in the form of circles – the larger the circle, the stronger the concept. Users then add information to the circle, similar to a sticky-note. When that idea leads to another one, users can create a circle and connect the two. By repeating this process, users create links between ideas to manage their thinking and prepare for presentation.
The app also has an intelligent set of rules that’ll help organize and rearrange thinking with suggestions on where there might be logic issues or biases. It will also recognize thought tendencies.
BrainPlots also provides analysis reports after brainstorming sessions so users can see where their consistencies lie and what is lacking. It’s a great brainstorming app that’s available for FREE on iPads. Visit http://www.brainplots.com to download it or to learn more.
