Apple Self Storage to Host “Meat & Greet” with Kingston Interval House for Women and Children in Crisis
New York, New York (PRWEB) July 04, 2013 -- On Saturday July 6th staff at Apple Self Storage in Kingston, ON will be firing up the grill for a “Meat & Greet” event, to be co-hosted with Kingston Interval House for Women and Children in Crisis. The casual gathering will run from 11 am to 3 pm, during which time donations will be accepted on behalf of the shelter and counselling provider.
Kingston Interval House has a long history of providing refuge for women and children in the community, and regularly partners with local businesses to raise funds and broaden awareness of pressing issues such as abuse. Apple Self Storage, located at 351 Select Drive in Kingston, will be providing free burgers to guests while collecting donations to support the work of Kingston Interval House.
Everyone is welcome to come enjoy free burgers and refreshments, rain or shine. The event will also provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the work done by Kingston Interval House, including the ever-present need for their services.

Opened in 1975, Kingston Interval House has been providing much-needed safety and counselling to abused women and children throughout the Kingston area with the help of various funding initiatives. The Organization currently provides both emergency and transitional housing, as well as outreach counselling services.
