About Apploi
Apploi is an ecosystem in which jobseekers and employers can more easily connect. The job search app is available on the Google Play and App stores, as well as on the web, where jobseekers can apply for jobs and find expert job search advice. Apploi is already working with over 5,000 brands across the United States, primarily in the retail, restaurant, service, and hospitality sectors. Users can apply to jobs directly though the app and use a video response to show their personality and skills far more effectively than a traditional resume.
The Internet never did for the service and support industries what it did for corporate hiring, and Apploi is trying to change that. The company was recently recognized by The White House as an “American Innovator” and also won a 2014 Tabby Awards. Apploi was a runner-up in the global Startup of 2014 'Pitch Competition' at WebSummit 2014 in Dublin.
Apploi continues to drive its mission of providing access to jobs and helping companies reach talent they have long been unable to engage. Through partnerships with state and municipal governments – including New York State, the City of Baltimore, and Washington State – as well as with colleges, public libraries, and shopping centers throughout the United States jobseekers can apply to jobs at Apploi’s public job search kiosks. These kiosks connect jobseekers to opportunities they might otherwise miss using traditional job search techniques.
