Great apps are being lost in crowded market. It is time to widen app distribution
(PRWEB) November 26, 2015
AppsGeyser has formed an alliance with Amazon app store and as an opening offer, is running a competition open to all app makers that upload apps to Amazon between November 16th and December 16th 2015. The goal behind the distribution partnership is to enhance app discoverability opportunities for app makers. App makers that publish over 25 apps to Amazon are also automatically entitled to win a Kindle Fire HDX 7'' Tablet worth $199
Many app makers automatically choose to distribute their apps directly to the popular of app stores, and although some app stores are more popular than others, their popularity can often be a negative for new app makers as this causes overcrowding. The ability to push new apps, and new app makers, into the hands of potential app users can often be flawed.
AppsGeyser, the online Android app template provider, is running a competition for a limited time, to celebrate the latest partnership, for Android app makers to publish their apps to Amazon app store. Amazon app store is available in over 236 countries and has millions of existing customers waiting for new apps to appear.
Amazon is already a world favorite online store, this magnifies the discoverability factor of apps in the Amazon app store. Customers are referred to relevant apps via online searches as well app store searches, page views and previous purchase history. To learn more about the AppsGeyser competition, please click here.
"I didn’t put much consideration into which Android app store I would publish my apps to,” explained Rani Cohen. “GooglePlay was my one and only thought until I read about the AppsGeyser partnership with Amazon. It makes so much sense to use Amazon app store, I feel like my chances of having a successful app have increased now.”
“Android app makers do not think through the significance of app distribution,” admits Vasily Salomatov, AppsGeyser CEO. “We have seen some fantastic apps created only to receive a handful of installs in GooglePlay. This is because great apps are being lost in crowded market. It is time to widen app distribution to more than one app store to enhance the chances of app success.”
AppsGeyser, launched in February 2011, is now the biggest Free Android App Builder on the market. AppsGeyser’s popularity has risen by enabling users to create apps with ease for Android devices from any web content in under five minutes. AppsGeyser has seen more than 2,294,000 apps created on its platform. There have been more than 1.222 billion installations of its apps.
